Australian dollar jumps to 6-day high against greenback (Nasdaq)

(RTTNews) – The Australian dollar advanced further against the US dollar on Wednesday morning in Asia. The aussie rose to a 6-day high of 0.6493 versus the greenback by 8:25 pm Eastern Time. This may be compared to yesterday’s close of 0.6461. On the upside, the aussie is likely to test resistance near the 0.653. The aussie-buck pair is presently quoted at 0.6489.
