Dollar dips against the yen in night trading (AP via Yahoo! Finance)

The dollar fell further against the Japanese yen late Wednesday night in New York. The greenback dipped to 88.97 yen from the 89.43 yen it bought in late afternoon trading. Earlier in the session, the dollar had fallen as far as 87.10 yen — its weakest point since July 1995.
