Norway’s Central Bank Cuts Key Rate a Half Point

Norway’s central bank lowered its key interest rate by half a percentage point to 1.5 percent on Wednesday, citing the deepest global economic slump in decades.

The central bank also cut rates by half a percent on March 25 and Feb. 4 after slashing them by a record 1.75 percentage points in December. Read more about Norway’s central bank
