Sumitomo Trust’s Full-Year Profit Falls 94% to 5 Billion Yen (Bloomberg)

April 17 (Bloomberg) — Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co. , Japan’s fifth-largest bank, posted a 94% decline in full-year profit. Net income fell to 5 billion yen ($50 million) from 82.3 billion yen a year earlier, the Osaka-based lender said today, citing preliminary figures.
