Swiss franc soars to 5-day high against most majors (Nasdaq)

(RTTNews) – The Swiss franc staged a strong rally against its major rivals on Monday morning in New York. The alpine currency jumped to a 5-day high of 1.5175 against the euro, 1.1415 against the US dollar and 87.93 versus the Japanese yen by 9:15 am ET. Against the pound, the franc reached a 4-day high of 1.6852 during this time.
