Looks like the ending diagonal is perhaps in the making as I suggested a few weeks back. It may be ending but somehow I think we’ll have a drumbeat of “dollar is doomed” stories for the next few weeks for the final waves.

The Greenback rose across the board after the FED decision to leave rates unchanged. EUR/USD fell below the intra-day low at 1.3950 to 1.3910. Below there, the next support lies at 1.3880. (RTTNews) – The Swiss currency edged sharply higher against its major rivals on Friday morning in New York. The alpine unit advanced to near a 1-1/2 month high of 1.1184 against the US dollar, new multi-week high of 88.63 versus the Japanese yen and a 4-day high of 1.6894 versus the pound by 8:35 am ET. The franc also inched higher to 1.5097 against the euro by this time.
