US Consumer Confidence Headed Back Towards 20 Yr Lows

US consumer sentiment is in the dumps. Massive job losses have turned Americans more pessimistic in the month of February. The University of Michigan Consumer Confidence report fell from 61.2 to 56.2, the sharpest decline since the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy in September.
